Services Provided
We provide bookkeeping and financial reporting services specifically for hair stylists, barbers, salon owners, and barbershop owners. Our services include:
- Monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliation
- Financial statement preparation (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)
- Expense categorization and tracking
- Integration with payment processors and bookkeeping software
- CPA coordination and report preparation
Services We Do NOT Provide
We do not provide:
- Tax preparation or tax filing services
- Tax advice or tax planning
- Legal advice or business structure guidance
- Financial advisory or investment advice
- Payroll processing (we categorize payroll, but do not process it)
- Audit or assurance services
You are responsible for working with a qualified CPA or tax professional for tax-related matters.
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial information
- Grant access to necessary accounts (bank accounts, payment processors, bookkeeping software)
- Respond to requests for information or clarification within a reasonable timeframe
- Review monthly reports and notify us of any errors or concerns
- Maintain your own records and backups
- Work with a qualified CPA or tax professional for tax matters
Accuracy of Information
We rely on the information you provide. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy in our work, you are ultimately responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you provide to us and to your CPA or tax authorities.
We are not liable for errors that result from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information provided by you.
Service Fees and Payment Terms
Service fees are based on the complexity of your business and are quoted upfront. Fees are billed monthly in advance.
- Monthly plans: Billed on the first of each month
- Annual plans: Billed upfront for the full year
- Catch-up services: Billed as a one-time fee before work begins
All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to our services, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file.
Cancellation Policy
Monthly Plans: You may cancel at any time with 15 days notice by email. You will be billed for the current month. No refunds for partial months.
Annual Plans: Annual plans are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-year, you will not receive a refund for unused months.
Catch-Up Services: One-time catch-up fees are non-refundable once work has begun.
Late Payments
If payment fails or is not received, we reserve the right to pause services until payment is received. Late fees may apply for payments more than 15 days overdue.
Confidentiality
We treat your financial information as confidential and will not share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or with your explicit permission.
You grant us permission to share relevant financial information with your CPA or tax professional as needed to support your tax preparation.
Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Decisions you make based on financial reports we provide
- Tax penalties, interest, or fees resulting from late filings or errors (unless directly caused by our gross negligence)
- Loss of data due to third-party service failures
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability to you for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate services at any time if:
- You fail to pay for services
- You provide false or misleading information
- You engage in abusive or inappropriate behavior
- You violate these Terms of Service
Upon termination, we will provide you with copies of your financial records in a standard format.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which our business is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
