Monthly bookkeeping runs $159–$700 depending on your accounts and volume. Simple booth and suite renters start on Lite at $159; most solo stylists and barbers with more going on pay $250–$300. Yes. Not happy with your first month of monthly bookkeeping? Email us within 30 days of your start date and we'll refund that first month's fee, no questions asked. Catch-up, QuickBooks setup and other one-time fees aren't covered.

Where it goes wrong for stylists and barbers is the stuff it has to guess at: Square and Vagaro pay out after fees, tips land in the same deposit as service money, color and retail get lumped together, and personal spending slips in. Software sorts all of it with confidence and nobody checks it against your bank statement. You're paying for a person who reconciles every account each month, fixes what the software got wrong, and hands your CPA books that hold up. If you have one account, no tips and no product, doing it yourself can work fine.
